Day1. Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel and meal.
Day2. Tbilisi tour
We will see the sights of Tbilisi. Tbilisi is one of the picturesque cities in Europe with its long time history. It was founded in the 5th century by Vakhtang Gorgasali. The sights of Old Tbilisi are very close to each other and that’s why it is quite possible to walk and see them . We start our walking form Metekhi Briddge (13th century) then we see the ancient churches of Shardeni street : Sioni cathedral (6th century), Anchiskhati and Synagogue. We will be able to climb to Narikala by cabel car In the afternoon we will visit Georgian National Museum and walk along Rustaveli Avenue. In the evening we will come to sulfur baths and then you will be able to taste Georgian national dishes ,wine and enjoy with Georgian folk music and dance. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day3. Tbilisi- Bodbe- Sighnaghi- Tsinandali- Tbilisi
After breakfast we will drive to Kakheti-the homeland of wine. We will see Bodbe Monastery –a holy place for Christians. St. Nino’s grave is in Bodbe Monastery. St Nino preached the Christ in 326. Then we will go to sighnaghi-the town of love. It is surrounded by a 4metre long wall as it was a fortification. Our next destination is Tsinandalali where we can see the museum of Georgian writer A.Chavchavadze and taste wine. In the evening we will return to Tbilisi by Gombori Ridge. Overnight and dinner in Tbilisi.
Day 4.tbilisi-Kazbegi-Ananuri-Tbilisi
We will drive to Kazbegi after breakfast and see Gergety Trinity Church ( XIV) with its wonderful views. Then we will go on our way to Ananuri. It is one of the well preserved architectural monument of the feudal age(XIV). Overnight and dinner in Tbilisi.
Day5. Tbilisi- Mtskheta- Gori- Uplistsikhe-Kutaisi
After breakfast we will drive to Mtskheta and see Jvari Church (7th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century).Then we will drive to Gori and see Stalin museum. We continue our way to cave town of Uplistsikhe (1st century BC).Once there was a town crossed by Silk Road. We will see theatre, rooms chemist caved in a rock. Drive to Kutaisi. Overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 6. Kutaisi- sataplia- Gelati- Batumi
After breakfast we will see Gelati Cathidral founded by David the Builder in 12th century. It is in UNESCO Heritage list. The first academy was founded here where they were taught ancient Greeek philosophy. Then we will go to Sataplia.The trace of dinosaurs is discovered here. Finally we will drive to Batumi. Overnight and meal in Batumi.
